Freshness:
- Best enjoyed the day it is baked for peak crust + flavor.
- Keeps 2-3 days at room temperature if wrapped in a paper bag or tea towel (lets it breathe).
- For longer storage, slice and freeze in an airtight bag up to 3 months.
To Refresh:
- Pop slices straight from freezer into the toaster.
- For half/whole loaves: warm at 350F for 10-15 minutes to revive that fresh-baked crust.
What to avoid:
- Don't refrigerate (dries bread out quickly).
- Don't keep sealed in plastic at room temp (makes crust soggy).
